Teams - your greatest competitive advantage
For all organisations, great teams are the strongest source of competitive advantage in any market.
It is through teams, specifically high-performing teams, where work is accomplished and progress is achieved.
For teams to deliver great results consistently over time takes more than talented individuals who work hard, it requires a shared understanding of:
mindset - a clear sense of purpose and identity, embracing a why, that is closely aligned to the team not a simple copy/paste of the company mission
action - what is it that we are doing and what are each other's responsibilities
outcome - what do we want to achieve both individually and collectively
A team can operate without one or even all of these, but productivity will suffer and ultimately it will become a group of individuals who work together. When pressure is applied, failure will quickly follow.
Our approach to coaching teams
Teamship360
The Centre for Teams flagship team coaching programme has been our core service offer for over 20 years.
It is a four- step process that blends coaching support for the team leader, assessments by the team of their current environment, workshops to identify goals and opportunities and monitoring to ensure these objectives are achieved.
The Adaptable Team Assessment TM
This is the proprietary assessment tool developed by Centre for Teams that assesses a team's strength against the key framework necessary for adaptable and successful teams.
It is deployed at both the start of any team coaching programme and then again at the end to assess progress. It has been well validated and used within many different teams from many different industries over the last 10 years.
Bespoke Team Workshops
Centre for Teams runs regular, practical workshops for between 5 and 50 people in a team or organisation focussed around a specific area where there could be improvement to support performance or productivity.
Some of our more frequently requested subjects are resilience and avoiding burnout, conflict and difficult conversations and innovation engineering.
What do our clients have to say?
Centre for Teams has really worked wonders for our team, unlocking the potential for greater wellbeing as well as ambition and sales drive and the creation of a much more collaborative and well-functioning team. It also came at a critical time for the business as we prepared for a major transaction which has allowed us to significantly expand our market impact. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Centre for Teams has added huge value to my personal development, as well as to my Senior Leadership Team. This has allowed my team to outperform in areas of my business, especially around strategic direction and ambiguity in a complex working environment. I would not hesitate in recommending Centre for Teams for Senior Leadership Development, to achieve a high-performing team.
