Fine tune your senior leadership

We have been fortunate enough to work with some extraordinary individuals, who continually strive to improve their ability to lead themselves and others with skill, empathy, humility, and increasing wisdom.

However, even for experienced leaders, challenges abound. From the external environment, in navigating complexity, change, and competing stakeholder needs, to the internal dimension, where it can feel like there is ‘less time to think’, to be self-aware, or to thoughtfully consider how to respond to old, new and recurring challenges.

For over 20 years, we have been supporting senior leaders within the UK and internationally, to lead their teams, their organisations and most of all themselves, more purposefully and authentically. To not just do more leadership type things, but to BE better leaders, of themselves and others.

Our leadership coaching programmes operate as either stand-alone interventions or as an integrated part of a wider team coaching programme.

Our leadership coaching programmes focus on:

Generating a deep level of insight into your identity as a leader, through comprehensive 360° feedback and psychometrics.

Developing understanding of the values, beliefs and assumptions that drive action and behaviour in supporting you to operate with a renewed sense of authenticity and cohesion.

Closing the gap between what you know and what you habitually do, building the muscle to consistently apply your learning in service of your own development and of those that you lead.

Creating alignment between your own needs, the needs of your team and that of the wider organisational system.

Contracting and goal setting:

A series of interventions to create clarity on coaching goals and to establish the protocols which will support a strong and effective coaching relationship. As appropriate, additional contracting is arranged with an organisational sponsor, to ensure alignment on objectives, and to ensure high levels of both mutual confidentiality and accountability.

Exploration and insight:

The deployment of best-in-class psychometric instruments and 360° feedback by accredited practitioners to enable greater self-awareness of personal traits and ways of operating.

Challenge, support and creating insight:

Between six to eight 1.5 to 2-hour coaching sessions, spaced over a period of 6 to nine months. We aim to work on a face-to-face basis whenever possible, or to adopt a blended approach with interspersed virtual sessions as appropriate.

Evaluation and review:

1 x 60-minute review of progress against goals, business value and ‘return on expectation’ with the leader, and as appropriate, the Organisational Sponsor

As a result, you will get:

Dedicated space, time and support in exploring what is of fundamental importance to you now and in the future, in a safe and confidential environment.

A clearer understanding of yourself, your strengths, your patterns and what will support and what can inhibit your effectiveness.

Consistent support, stimulus and guidance in developing new strategies and ways of working that will enable you to develop a new and healthier relationship with yourself and with the challenges you face in your role.

Centre for Teams has really worked wonders for our team, unlocking the potential for greater wellbeing as well as ambition and sales drive and the creation of a much more collaborative and well-functioning team. It also came at a critical time for the business as we prepared for a major transaction which has allowed us to significantly expand our market impact. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
